Big Bang short filmfest screens lineup of 34 Iranian films

Big Bang International Short Film Festival in Athens has screened a lineup of 34 Iranian short films.

‘Manicure’ by Arman Fayyaz, ‘Retouch’ directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, ‘Cemetery Men’ by Ali Mardomi, Saeed Nejati’s ‘It Rains Slowly’, ‘Are You Volleyball?!’ by Mohamad Bakhshi, Parastoo Cardgar’s ‘Icky’, ‘Animal’ directed by Bahman & Bahram Ark and ‘Not Yet’ by Arian Vazirdaftari were among the films that were screened at the event.

Big Bang International Short Film Festival is an annual event that aims to demonstrate thematic and fully completed cinematic suggestions through the cinematic style of the Short Film.

The goal of this year’s Big Bang International Short Film Festival was to focus on “Iranian Micro Cinema” through screenings of new short films by Iranian creators.

The festival was held on June 1-3, 2018.
